Dent Helen – Terms and Conditions
General Terms
These Terms and Conditions, together with your Treatment Plan, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dent Helen. By booking an online consultation or treatment with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
Online Consultations
All consultations are conducted online and are provided free of charge. During your online consultation, you may be asked to share your dental history or provide electronic copies of any available dental imaging and documents for assessment purposes.
Please ensure you attend your scheduled online consultation in a timely manner. If you fail to attend or are not adequately prepared, your appointment may be cancelled. Repeated missed appointments may result in a deposit requirement for future bookings. In certain situations, we may need to reschedule your appointment, and you will be notified promptly with alternative times.
Treatment Options
Our goal is to provide you with comprehensive information about the treatment options available, including potential consequences and risks. You are encouraged to discuss these options with your dentist to select a treatment plan that is medically sound, aesthetically pleasing, and appropriate for your needs.
Please ensure that you fully understand the implications and alternatives before agreeing to any treatment.
Course of Treatment
Occasionally, it may become necessary to modify the initially agreed treatment plan after the commencement of your online consultation or treatment. Such changes may be required based on further assessments or additional specialist input. Any modifications will be clearly explained, and a revised treatment plan will be agreed upon. You may decide to discontinue treatment at any stage, in which case you will only be liable for work already performed.
Please note that long-term use of temporary solutions (such as dentures, crowns, or bridges) may adversely affect your dental health. If you do not adhere to the agreed treatment timeline or miss scheduled sessions within the prescribed period, Dent Helen reserves the right to revise any previously applied offers.
Cancellation of Online Consultations and Treatment
Cancellations for scheduled online consultations or treatment sessions must be submitted in writing via email at least 72 hours (3 working days) prior to the appointment. Failure to cancel within this period or repeated no-shows may result in a deposit requirement for future bookings.
Complaints
If you have any complaints regarding your online consultation or any aspect of the services provided, please first discuss the matter with your dentist. For further assistance, contact Dent Helen customer care at +44 730 910 33 39 or via email at info@denthelen.com.
Should your issue not be resolved satisfactorily over the phone, further arrangements may be made for additional assessment.
Guarantee
Different types of dental work are subject to varying guarantee conditions. After your treatment, you will receive a detailed guarantee statement. The longevity of the work depends on the quality of the procedures performed and on your dental care routine, including regular checkups.
Should remedial work be required under the guarantee, it will be carried out according to the terms specified in your guarantee statement.
Disclosure
In order to provide our services, you are required to disclose certain personal information—including your dental history and relevant health records (“the Information”)—to Dent Helen or its designated agents. Dent Helen is not liable for any losses arising from inaccuracies or omissions in the Information provided. It is your responsibility to ensure that the information is accurate and to notify us promptly of any changes.
Confidentiality
Dent Helen may have access to confidential information during the provision of our services. We will not disclose any confidential information except as necessary for the proper performance of our services or as required by law.
Data Protection
Dent Helen complies with all applicable data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your health records and personal data are collected solely for providing you with the requested services. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Any changes to our data protection practices will only be made with your consent.
You may request that we do not transfer your personal details as described above by contacting our customer care.
Liability
In addition to any liabilities expressly excluded under these Terms, Dent Helen shall not be liable for any consequential losses. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the services provided.
Other
No delay or failure by either party to exercise any right under these Terms shall constitute a waiver of that right. Any modifications to your Treatment Plan or these Terms must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Dent Helen reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in our operating practices or legal requirements. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt an amicable resolution; if no agreement is reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the appropriate court jurisdiction as determined by Dent Helen.
